Shaken, Not Stirred

Lola's on Fairfax offers one of the best happy hour deals in town.  Between 5:30 & 7:30, 7 days a week, they offer $5 martinis and $5.50 appetizer specials.  

Not into martinis?  They offer a $5 special on margaritas, Kir Royale, capaernias, and all house wines.  If $5 is too steep, they offer $3 Bud on tap and $3 Woodchick pear cider.  

Appetizers include mini-burgers, pizza, short rib tacos, chicken spring rolls and many others.

It's a mixed up muddled up shook up world, except for Lola(s).

The Happiest Hour of the Them All

One perk to being unemployed: Happy Hour.  I will bring you a weekly review of the best drinks, deals, and meals out there.

The first bargain of the year is at Hamburger Hamlet.  They offer half price drinks and appetizers in the bar from 3 pm - 7 pm.   The plates are regular size - not scaled down versions of their normal portions.  I recommend the Mediterranean plate and 3 Cheese BBQ Chicken Quesadilla.
